| Do you think your Caribbean or African upbringing/heritage has impacted your work? If so, please explain how. |
| Growing up as an African American female my heritage has significantly impacted the work I am doing. For over ten years I was diagnosed as anemic when I actually had systemic lupus. The healthcare professionals ignored my concerns because of the color of my skin. Whether it’s in medical settings, college, or corporate our voices aren’t heard. The various obstacles that I have overcome provide me with a skillset in empowering minority women toward healing. |

| Through the work I am doing Black women are falling in love with themselves and leaving toxic relationships. Additionally as entrepreneurs, they are attracting higher paying clients increasing their revenue. |
