| Growing up in Jamaica my mom made all of our clothes we could not afford to buy clothes so I learn from her I remember at 15 yrs old I made a capsules collection for a pregnant friend/ neighbor that got pregnant at 16 that was my first foray into designs |
| How does your work positively impact culture + community? |
| My fabric of choice is denim but I also created a performance wear line called sweat N parts a personalize weight loss clothing line My innovative pieces impact my community / culture because I fuse my Jamaican colors into my denim pieces to show the beauty in our Jamaican colors how they work well with denim and how stylish our culture is |
