Caribeart stands out as one of the most influential digital platforms for Caribbean art, amassing over 50+ million views since 2018, with 40,000+ followers and showcasing over 900 artists.

In 2023, we introduced arTech, an innovative space for exploration and learning through avant-garde workshops, training, and events at the intersection of technology and culture in all its forms (dance, music, visual art, literature…)
Are you Caribbean or African, or of Caribbean or African descent? If you are, please tell us details.
I’m a black woman, I’m from from Guadeloupe, French West Indies in the Caribbean
We speak creole and french.
Do you think your Caribbean or African upbringing/heritage has impacted your work? If so, please explain how.
Yes, my Caribbean heritage has significantly influenced my work. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant and diverse cultures of the Caribbean, I developed a deep appreciation for art, music, and storytelling. This cultural richness is a driving force behind Caribeart, the digital agency I launched in 2018. Our focus on Art, Culture, and Tech is a direct reflection of the dynamic and multifaceted nature of Caribbean culture.

The Caribbean is home to some of the best artists in the world, and it is crucial to continue bridging the gap between culture and digital innovation to uplift our Caribbean Creative Economy. My work is dedicated to this cause, ensuring that Caribbean art and culture receive the recognition and opportunities they deserve on the global stage.
How does your work positively impact culture + community?
My work positively impacts culture and community in several significant ways. Through Caribeart, we have created a digital platform that elevates Caribbean art and culture, providing visibility and opportunities for over 900 artists. This exposure helps artists gain recognition, access new markets, and grow their careers, which in turn enriches the cultural landscape of the Caribbean.

By showcasing the incredible talent from the region, we foster a sense of pride and cultural identity within the community. Caribeart has reached over 50 million views and garnered a following of more than 40,000 people, demonstrating the widespread appreciation and support for Caribbean art. This visibility not only benefits individual artists but also strengthens the cultural heritage of the entire region.

Our innovative initiative, arTech, further enhances this impact by offering avant-garde workshops, training, and events that blend technology and culture. These programs provide valuable learning opportunities and foster creative collaboration, encouraging participants to explore new forms of cultural expression and stay at the forefront of digital innovation.
