What message of hope or inspiration would you like to share with other women in our community who are also pursuing their dreams? |
To every woman pursuing her dreams, remember that your journey is a testament to your strength and resilience. Embrace every challenge as an opportunity to grow, and know that your passion and determination can create lasting change—not just for yourself, but for your entire community. My journey began with just $1.49 in my bank account and a jar of honey, proving that with faith and perseverance, anything is possible. As the proud founder of BeeFavored, often called the Honey Parlor in Harlem, NY, I’ve built more than just a business; I’ve created a space where everything we make is crafted with love and innovation. BeeFavored is rooted in a childhood memory of my mother, a professional canner, whose generosity earned her the nickname “the canning lady.” In 2020, a chance encounter with a swarm of bees near our garage sparked the idea to create something meaningful for our community. Today, we’re redefining what sweetness means with a diverse selection of honey blends, jams, sauces, and our upcoming Southern Sweety Pie Spices. Our new initiative, BeeFavored HarvestED, advocates for health, sustainability, and community involvement, showing that even the smallest beginnings can lead to powerful impacts. We believe in honesty, recognizing both our strengths and weaknesses, and understand that sharing the load is key to our success. In the spirit of collaboration, we continue to grow, always with the intention of making a difference. |
