Ramona Riley, the founder of Cosmic Wombman, has long been driven by her mission to heal and empower women. A native of Kingston, Jamaica, Ramona’s journey into reproductive wellness began with her own roots in the Caribbean. She realized that too many women in Jamaica, as well as across the Caribbean diaspora, were suffering in silence—unable to access the healthcare. This realization ignited her passion to create a space where women could receive the holistic care they deserve.
“I was living in the United States, assisting women with achieving a healthy reproductive system when I realized my own people were suffering in silence,” Ramona reflects. “The price of tests, doctor visits and surgeries are high and most women in Jamaica cannot afford to see a doctor twice a month and get a prescription to stop excessive bleeding. So in 2017 decided that my head office would be in Jamaica.”
The Birth of Cosmic Wombman
Ramona’s entrepreneurial journey began in 2014 with Cosmic Births, a prenatal, birth, and postnatal care service that offered a holistic approach to pregnancy and childbirth. But it was through her work with women facing fertility challenges that she recognized a broader need—one that could not only address reproductive health during pregnancy, but also offer solutions for hormonal balance and overall wellness. This led to the creation of Cosmic Wombman in 2016, a space dedicated to supporting women in achieving balanced reproductive health, fertility, and healing through natural methods.
“Cosmic Wombman was born out of a deep desire to support women in every phase of their reproductive health,” Ramona explains. “I realized that women who were struggling with fertility or hormonal imbalances weren’t just facing physical issues—they were also experiencing emotional and mental challenges. I wanted to provide a space where we could heal holistically—physically, emotionally, and mentally—so that women could thrive.”
A Holistic Approach to Reproductive Wellness
Ramona’s mission is clear: she wants every woman to experience a 24-hour period free from the symptoms of reproductive health conditions. Cosmic Wombman aims to eliminate issues such as excessive bleeding, hormonal imbalances, and fertility struggles, creating a space where women can reclaim their health and embrace natural healing. Through services like womb massage, yoni steaming, fertility coaching, and pre- and postnatal care, Ramona helps women restore balance to their bodies and minds.
But Ramona’s vision doesn’t stop with women. She recognizes that the male perspective on reproductive health is equally important. “Many men don’t understand the female body and its complexities,” she says. “We need to educate men about the importance of emotional expression and sexual health. I want to see men become more comfortable with vulnerability and learn how to support their partners in ways that honor both their masculine and feminine energy.”
Reaching Across the Diaspora
For Ramona, providing services to women in the Caribbean and across the diaspora is especially important. “Women in the Caribbean and across the diaspora are all in need of some hormonal healing, and doing it from a holistic standpoint is key,” she notes. “I help women use all the things God created to heal ourselves and stay healthy, without breaking down our livers or dealing with side effects from different medications.”
Cosmic Wombman offers a range of products—such as tonics and teas for detoxing, hormonal balancing, and mucus removal—as well as treatments like detoxes, and womb and fertility massages. Ramona’s holistic services allow women to take charge of their health, whether they are healing from a reproductive condition or simply looking to enhance their well-being.
Overcoming Challenges as a Woman Entrepreneur
Like many entrepreneurs, Ramona has faced challenges along the way. One of the most difficult has been balancing her work with her responsibilities as a mother. “From the beginning, traveling for Cosmic Wombman was part of the plan,” she says. “But after separating from my husband, I found it even harder to leave my children for extended periods. I struggled with feelings of guilt, wondering if they would feel abandoned. It’s a challenge I still face, but I’ve learned to be gentle with myself. I remind myself that this work is for the greater good, and I know my children are proud of their mama.”
This dedication to both her family and her mission has driven Ramona to find creative ways to balance both, showing that it’s possible to nurture a family while also nurturing a growing business dedicated to helping others.

For Ramona, the most rewarding part of her work is witnessing the transformation of her clients. “Many of the women I work with come to me as a last resort,” she says. “Seeing them go from feeling hopeless to achieving their goals is incredibly rewarding. Watching them heal physically, emotionally, and mentally—knowing that they are empowered to live healthier, more fulfilling lives—is what makes everything worth it.”
