| I am Haitian American born and raised in Miami, FL. First generation American as both my parents were born in Haiti. |
| Do you think your Caribbean or African upbringing/heritage has impacted your work? If so, please explain how. |
| I went to Haiti for the first time when I was 15 years old. I thought it was a family trip. It was a family volunteering and giveback trip where I saw property from a different lens. We feed the neighborhood for 3 days. Then went to the local prisons and fed the inmates, we gave clothes and shoes, and paid many medical expenses for simple items we take for granted such as ibuprofen pills. I came back from that trip at the age of 15 a different person. My life after that has been serving underserved communities in many different capacities. Currently, I am an educator that teaches the importance of preventative cancer screenings and genetic testing. |
| How does your work positively impact culture + community? |
| We empower businesses and organizations to effectively implement community health initiatives, bridging the gap between our clients and underserved populations through innovative community activations, leadership training, strategic partnerships, and data-driven impact support, thereby advancing health equity. In short, we provide education and screenings on chronic diseases to communities of color; lung cancer, prostate, breast, and educate the importance of genetic testing. |

| The moment you stop, you are hindering the blessings of another. Your dreams aren’t only yours, someone else is depending on you to start so they can run! |
