ABOUT HER CULTURE
Who We Are
About Her Culture is an exploration of the Caribbean’s connections to Africa, and how watering those roots can empower women, strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems, and stimulate social and economic development.
We feature African and Caribbean women who are creatives, entrepreneurs and impact-makers, based at home or abroad. Contributing positively within their spaces around the world, the women and women-led projects we showcase are socially conscious, sustainability-focused, ethical and purpose-driven.
About Her Culture is currently headquartered in the United States, with team members and contributors based in the Caribbean and Africa.
Mission
Our mission at About Her Culture is to positively impact our global community of African and Caribbean women, and women-owned businesses and projects.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
KINISHA CORREIA

A Jamaican who currently resides in the US, Kinisha is a seasoned, award-winning journalist, content writer and editorial director who has worked with a variety of publications and businesses throughout the US and the Caribbean.
Her body of work largely explores the cultural intersections of: (1) women of Caribbean and African descent effecting positive change across the globe; (2) a people and planet approach to business; and (3) wellness and its correlation to social equity.
